Mechanical Engineer

Our client, a recognized leader in the field of automation, is expanding and seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its team in Laval, Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Analyze and model mechanical systems in motion.
✅ Design and optimize mechanical systems while considering dynamic constraints.
✅ Perform numerical simulations (finite element analysis, multi-body modeling, etc.) to predict system behavior.
✅ Participate in the design, testing, and validation of prototypes.
✅ Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure project feasibility and optimization.
✅ Prepare technical reports and suggest improvements to enhance system performance.
✅ Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and delivery deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience:

✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
✔️ Minimum 10 years of experience in dynamic mechanics and vibrations.
✔️ Registered member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
✔️ Strong problem-solving and technical analysis skills.
✔️ Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
✔️ Proficiency in French and functional English (for interaction with clients and factories outside Quebec).
