In your duties, you will be called upon to:

• Design and manage wireframe, surfaces and complex surface arrangements;

• Support the engineering design offices with surface lofting expertise;

• Maintain and manage lofting databases and general aircraft drawings;

• Work closely with aerodynamics and design teams and provide geometric references for multifunctional internal customers;

• Participate in the transformation of Airbus Canada engineering capabilities being involved with the team in Canada and in Europe to develop and improve the current and future platforms.

As the ideal candidate,

• You have an university degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience;

• You have knowledge of Enovia and CATIA V5 with expertise in the shape design and surface generation workbenches;

• You have a passion for aviation and an aptitude for complex problem solving and innovation;

• Knowledge of aerodynamics and aerospace design;

• You have excellent communication & presentation skills.
