The Marketing Specialist - Digital Web will bring experience and passion to lead and build our digital channels to connect with our customers everyday with relevant, engaging content.
Overall, as part of the digital team, this role will play a part in managing digital campaigns and content creation internally and help to build strategy across the digital channels for all properties.
You will be responsible for planning and testing on your respective digital channels, formats and content and track to optimize performance specifically on digital.
More specifically, the Marketing Specialist - Digital Web will help deliver marketing, content and SEO strategy on our web properties and monitor those web properties to continuously optimize for an improved customer experience and SEO.
Role Impact
- Collaborate with Manager- Content Marketing to build out content strategy on the digital (web) platforms for every day and seasonal campaigns.
- Leverage insights to create content and copy customized to digital (web) channels to engage and connect with our customers every day.
- Collaborate with Regional Marketing to solicit property specific content and optimize execution (for each property web page).
- Execute a data driven, test and learn approach to digital marketing across all digital (web) platforms.
- Track, monitor and report key KPI performance at regular intervals for ongoing optimizations and data driven decision making.
- Actively tracks industry trends, (web) best practices and innovation to eagerly test and learn new opportunities.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to optimize the content to align with web best practices, brand guidelines and optimized for both mobile and desktop visitors.
- Support web projects from initial concept to successful delivery and lend support to occasional cross-channel coordination where web integrates with email and app channels. Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, specifically the project management team, to field incoming web requests as well as the web-based tasks for major marketing campaigns to manage timelines and provide any required updates from a project management standpoint.
- Leverage existing Contentful components to build new pages and then work with the Product Manager, Web to collaborate as needed on new web components or CMS feature enhancements to successfully manage and execute web-based projects.
- Continually monitor and optimize web properties for SEO including researching and tracking performance against key search terms, working with the marketing team to optimize content and monitoring for consistent look and feel aligned.

What You Need to Succeed:
- 1-3 years of marketing experience with 1+ years of data driven digital marketing experience (specifically in a role with web content maintenance responsibilities or similar role) that demonstrates knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.
- Post secondary education preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications or Digital Marketing.
- Knowledge in digital channel platforms, (specifically web content management systems, web analytics and SEO).
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics and other relevant tracking and reporting tools.
- Experience in content creation and copywriting on digital marketing platforms.
- Experience with SEO and web analytics to be able to manage web performance and search rankings.
- Experience with Contentful content management platform, Adobe Analytics, Java Script and HTML.
- Strong SEO experience using SEO tools including ability to complete site audits, keyword research, optimizing content for key terms and ongoing monitoring and optimization.
