RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Work with Director of Events to successfully lead the Build a Dream marketing team.
- Work with the Directors to manage, coordinate, and execute virtual/hybrid events, programs, and seminars from start to finish.
- Coordinate with Directors to implement marketing strategies, and execution strategy for all events, programs, workshops.
- Develop social media campaigns in conjunction with Build a Dream team.
- Maintain a high on-line presence to promote our organization and events and initiatives.
- Ensure main website, and microsites, are up to date.
- Create marketing material assets for all events.
- Source, negotiate, co-ordinate and maintain strong relationships with media.
- Coordinate email campaigns.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- 5 years of relevant event experience
- Fluent written and spoken English is required, with strong business communication skills.
- Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment, with the ability to perform and handle multiple assignments simultaneously with efficiency and accuracy.
- Well-developed time management skills: highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
- Responsible and able to work both independently and with project teams.
- Highly proficient levels in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Monday.com and strong technical knowledge and experience in producing virtual events on various digital platforms.
- Experience in Wordpress and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- Proven proactive and creative thinker.
