Job Description Summary

We are looking for an experienced data-driven marketer to join the Customer Base Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Team Lead, the Marketing Manager, Customer Base will focus on revenue generation and profitability through the creation, delivery and optimization of base marketing programs and campaigns (e.g. end of promo, cross-sell, upsell, migrations). The ideal candidate will bring a balance of facts, strategic thinking and creativity in all their project work and recommendations to ultimately impact our core business KPIs (churn volume, ARPA).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate, evolve, and execute base marketing strategies end-to-end (includes opportunity sizing, targeting, segmentation, reporting and analysis, A/B Testing and post implementation reviews);
  • Analyse and monitor base KPIs weekly (churn, ARPA) to draw key insights, tell stories and react as required
  • Generate base revenue through retention, cross-sell, upsell and migration activity including reactive and proactive programs and campaigns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams like pricing, brand, data science, marketing automation, channel marketing, front-line channels, product and finance.
  • Ensure key cross-functional partners are well informed on the objectives, offers and positioning of each program for optimal impact and compliance
  • Review program performance proactively to report against objectives and to maximize performance across all channels

  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, generate insight, and action against key metrics

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills that translate into effective storytelling

  • Business casing skills to support recommendations and drive confidence in ideas

  • Highly organized self-starter, detail-oriented and able to multi-task within tight deadlines

  • Ability to think outside the box

  • Strong business acumen with a passion for learning

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross functional partners

  • Advanced PC skills including MS Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides skills required

ACADEMIC TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field strongly preferred
