Develop and execute a roadmap for innovation that aligns with the company's strategic goals and objectives
Lead the annual innovation planning process ensuring innovation goals are realized and the long-term pipeline is robust
Lead and manage a team of innovation professionals, including setting goals, providing guidance and support, and evaluating performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and bring new products and processes to market
Support the design and execution of innovation experiments in the market for viability and ultimately scale-up execution
Support development of the selling story, in close collaboration with our sales organization to support customer sell-in across all channels
Partner with Consumer Insights to develop customized consumer research plans to validate and de-risk assumptions
Partner with the Commercial Execution team to launch these new platforms through Stage Gate and into market, and leading in-market performance for an introductory term (~12 weeks)
Monitor industry trends and competition to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth
Externally focused, engaging with potential external partners, VCs and startups
Evaluate new technologies and trends that have the potential to drive business growth and competitive advantage via innovation
Manages and mentors manager or associate level individuals to assist them with projects and further develop them
Partner with Finance to ensure progress is tracked, and results are consolidated, for all innovation projects to help the Innovation Steering Team monitor progress and provide guidance and support
