Marketing Coordinator

 

Description:

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, including social media and digital marketing. This role reports directly to the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

Asset Development

Develops concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, logos, and website elements following WPBR branding standards for social media, digital advertising and print advertising

Produce copy for websites, digital advertising, print advertising and in-house collateral

Designs promotional/creative materials for digital advertising campaigns, such as web banners and for print campaigns, such as visual advertisements, posters, flyers, coupons, rack cards, etc. for various departments.

Ensures all work is compliant with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, policies/procedures and the Accessibility Act with specific knowledge for creating accessible PDF documents.

To maintain an up-to-date inventory of photos, videos, and b-roll to be used within promotions, communications and advertising.

Digital Media

Manage social media channels and maintain an active presence on Facebook and Instagram. Track and optimize campaign performance across all social accounts.

Prepare and issue e-newsletters. Track and report campaigns.

Liaises with internal stakeholders and coordinates assets (content, photos, videos, digital templates).

Promotions & Public Relations

Responsible for all guest-facing signage (flyers, guestroom TVs, weekly and seasonal resort guides, pre-arrival communications, digital displays, welcome booklets, menus, compendiums etc.) – including design, coordination and printing.

Prepare for and participate in appropriate tradeshows.

Seek out, secure and re-purpose earned media exposure in targeted publications and travel media.

Serve as the curator of White Point content and storytelling directly through White Point channels and indirectly through third-party providers.

Participate in hotel events, festivals and seasonal activities to maximize social media and content generation opportunities

Brand Standards

Ensures work is engaging and distinctive within the destination tourism industry.

Provides regular weekly and/or monthly reports as required including status of all projects.

Knowledge of new and emerging design technologies to ensure state of the art processes are used.

Liaises with external printers to ensure deadlines are met and materials printed to the highest quality.

Adheres to WPBR file management protocol, maintaining well-organized, efficiently archived files
