Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as spokesperson for the company;
- Develop strategies and related content for direct and digital marketing and advertising campaigns and implement them;
- Advise on advertising or sales promotion strategies;
- Develop and maintain social media accounts, including managing customer reviews and testimonials
- Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material;
- Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions;
- Develop and organize workshops, meetings, ceremonies and other events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes;
- Develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies and programs;
- Gather, research and prepare communications material;
- Initiate and maintain contact with the media;
- Prepare or oversee preparation of reports, briefs, bibliographies, speeches, presentations,
Website content and press releases;
- Plan and direct advertising and marketing campaigns.
Employment Requirements:
- Completion of university degree or college diploma or equivalent in related discipline;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, business or other related industry is an asset;
- Team management, delegation and issue resolution skills and the ability to multi-task;
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and employee development skills;
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and high-volume environment;
- Flexible availability required (day, evening, weekend).
