Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop a social media strategy that will focus on enhancing the NLOA’s online social media presence,
- Attend international tradeshows on behalf of the NLOA marketing non-resident hunting and angling in Newfoundland and Labrador,
- Plan and implement a provincial outfitting sector tradeshow/job fair,
- Marketing the NLOA Associate Membership Program to industry product and service providers with a goal in increasing the NLOA’s Associate Members,
- Marketing of industry employment opportunities with further assisting with industry recruitment,
- Public education for NL of the NLOA and outfitting industry,
- Assists outfitter members to enhance their social media presence,
- Other duties as required.
Education/Work Experience
- Postsecondary education, or equivalent work experience relating to business or marketing are a strong asset,
- Work experience in social media and tourism preferred.
