Position Overview:
Reporting to Head of Marketing, the successful candidate will fill the full-time position of Marketing Coordinator located at our Toronto, Ontario Head Office.
This role will have a heavy focus on RENTCafe. RENTCafe is part of the Yardi Marketing Suite and is a marketing and leasing software platform featuring websites (with a custom CMS), social media, event management, email & SMS communications, on-line leasing and a resident portal.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Assist in project management and implementation of website updates via its proprietary CMS/RENTCafe
- Ensure property information is accurate and up to date on the Corporate and Property websites
- Test new features such as interactive site maps, ILS syndication, resident events, resident communications (email, SMS), amenity rentals
- Assist site staff and residents with Resident Portal issues including online payments, maintenance requests, password resets, online leasing, etc.
- File management by property and suite for the CMS, File Management and Data Capture
- Update floor plan images as well as unit mapping for website (Yardi/RentCafe)
- Assist with blog content and ‘how to’ documents
- Update marketing collateral material using InDesign and Adobe Creative Services
- Organize and administer monthly property orders of new resident Welcome Packages
- Monitor resident satisfaction survey platform and pulling reports
- Assist with coordination of rental association events and promotions
Skills and Qualifications:
- University degree, preferably in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or similar
- Fluency in written and spoken French is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PPT
- An understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, YouTube
- Previous experience using a CMS (for example, WordPress)
- Previous experience using InDesign and the Adobe suite of products
- Experience in digital marketing is considered an asset
