Marketing Content Manager

 

Description:

As our Content Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and planning of The Synthesis Institute's content marketing strategy. You will be instrumental in implementing our editorial calendar and acting as the driving force behind its execution. You'll take the lead on The Synthesis Institute's monthly newsletter, ensuring it is both valuable and resonates with our audience from concept to delivery. You will design and execute our social media strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing calendar while spearheading the ideation and curation of new content. You'll curate educational materials from our rich content library while spearheading the development of fresh content ideas. A significant part of your role will be proofreading and editing various forms of content delivered by external collaborators, including blog articles and email marketing campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and quality. Additionally, you'll oversee a diverse range of content marketing projects, from marketing collateral to lead generation assets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Content Production & Planning: Lead the continuous creation and distribution of content across platforms, including our website, blog, social media, and other marketing channels.

 

  • Content Calendar Management: Support the creation, implementation, and maintenance of our editorial and content marketing calendar.

 

  • Content Production Oversight: Manage and optimize daily content processes and report on content marketing outcomes.

 

  • Content Curation: Coordinate content sourcing from Synthesis faculty and our content libraries. Engage with potential guest speakers, contribute to content ideation, and collaborate with both internal teams and external contributors.

 

  • Editing & Proofreading: Ensure brand consistency and quality by thoroughly editing content across platforms, including social media, blogs, newsletters, and email campaigns.

 

  • Newsletter Management: Oversee The Synthesis Institute's monthly digital education newsletter from concept to delivery.

 

  • Lead Generation & Nurturing: Craft content strategies that drive lead generation and nurture potential students through the marketing funnel to support our training program's enrollment.

 

  • Digital Asset Development: Create and refine website templates and landing pages using HubSpot, collaborating with external developers as needed.

 

  • Event Content Marketing: Support the creation and promotion of The Synthesis Institute’s online events, including event landing page creation, copywriting, editing and proofreading, participation in content development sessions, and promotional content scheduling.

 

  • External Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with external collaborators, such as copywriters and designers, to ensure consistent and top-tier content.

 

  • Affiliate Content Partnerships: Support content collaborations with affiliate partners to extend our brand's reach.

 

  • Social Media Design & Strategy: Elevate our brand on social media by developing design templates, curating content in line with our calendar, managing writers and collaborators, and honing our overall online presence.

 

  • Social Media Management: Oversee social media tasks, from scheduling and posting to audience engagement and direct messages.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, ideally within the education, psychedelic, or wellbeing industry.
  • Degree in journalism, communications, literature, marketing, or similar.
  • Excellent proficiency in English with outstanding writing and editing skills.
  • A passion for psychedelics and awareness of current research and trends.
  • A documented history of successful content marketing projects, preferably in an agency or brand context.
  • Prior experience in developing and managing social media content.
  • A meticulous approach emphasizing details and high-quality content output.
  • Demonstrable organizational and project management skills.
