Description:
Reporting to the Manager of Marketing, the Marketing & Event Coordinator supports Kipling’s multi-family, condo, leasing and marketing teams and will be responsible for the day-to-day brand management of Kipling in general. This role creates new content for all marketing platforms, executes promotional campaigns, monitors and reports on analytics, contributes to the development of marketing plans, and leverages research to keep Kipling at the forefront of the industry.
This is a full-time, permanent and on-site position based out of Kipling’s head office with regular business hours.
Responsibilities
Property Level
- Support and collaborate with leasing team to reduce vacancies
- Refresh online ads, update content, improve marketing campaigns to drive leasing
- Review advertisements, pricing, telephone numbers, website info, signage etc.
- Support our multi-family clients, attend meetings, create presentations, and collaborate in a professional manner and attitude
- Plan and execute resident / tenant events and programming at each property
- Tour properties quarterly and make recommendations on signage, uniforms, branding opportunities, events, etc.
- Research competitor properties and their advertisements, improve overall market knowledge
- Manage Rentcafe, Property Vista, LeadManaging, Google My Business and Rentsync portals
- Post and manage on Kipling and individual property social media accounts
Corporate
- Manage Kipling’s social media on a weekly basis
- Manage and update Kipling’s websites, create news content
- Proactively provide suggestions on how to improve corporate branding and better ways to market the company
- Ensure all communications are aesthetically pleasing and follow brand guidelines
- Assist leadership team in ad hoc requests
- Approach tasks with an ESG mindset – encourage sustainability and social responsibility, monitor and track events, take and store photos.
Job Requirements
- University degree or college diploma (business, marketing or related field)
- 1 to 2 years marketing experience
- Previous real estate experience preferred
- Highly organized and self-starter individual
- Creative and innovate
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal skills, presentations)
- Proven analytical, research and report writing skills
- Familiar with social media and review platforms
