Description:
This is a full-time position that will be 16 months in length and be working at home and at the Winspear Centre and requires the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on the needs of the position.
Candidates who do not reside in the Edmonton area must be willing to relocate at their own expense.
What you will do:
- Member of the leadership team to support the vision and mission of the Winspear Strategic Plan
- Lead the Marketing & Business Development Team
- Develop and evaluate all marketing strategies and plans
- Analyze marketing and business development plans and activities to ensure they are meeting targets
- Develop, monitor, and meet annual and long-term budgets
- Strategize to increase patron retention and new to file
- Assess opportunities to broaden and diversify the Winspear Centre’s audiences
- Knowledge of evolutions and innovations in communications, marketing, funds development, patron stewardship, the arts industry, societal and cultural trends, and events in the global arts community
- Create and execute targeted campaigns – audience development, subscriptions, membership, single tickets, advocacy, education programs, rentals, and stewardship
- Develop, activate, assess, and analyze multiple marketing campaigns including direct marketing, digital marketing, contents marketing, and media buy
- Support internal departments for the marketing and promotional needs
- Develop a culture of fierce accountability, open communication, unsurpassed creativity and innovation, and unconditional trust and respect as the foundation for this team
