Act as the owner for our SDLC frameworks and ensure they reflect the needs of the organization, are easily accessible, and are well understood by our delivery community.
Be an expert in our technical processes, procedures, tools, who can support our delivery teams by providing coaching, mentorship, and training that improves shared knowledge of Sun Life’s SDLC processes and requirements.
Implement and facilitate a community where practice owners across Sun Life collaborate on the maintenance and improvement of our SDLC frameworks based on feedback or gaps identified from quality reviews.
Drive and participate in initiatives that target unnecessary process burden for teams and that reflect the needs of our evolving organization. This includes identifying and testing possible solutions, supporting communication, training, and monitoring to ensure long-term success.
Support the creation and execution of communication plans related to the new controls, methods, or tools being rolled out.
Partner with other similar roles from across the organization to ensure consistency in methods and share best practices in the frameworks used.
Identify analytic opportunities and establish ongoing monitoring that provides data driven insights
Partner with global teams such as Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to interpret incoming risks, issues, policies, standards, and implement actions to update our SDLC frameworks.
