Description:
Candidates should have and may be assessed on:
Broad knowledge related to the Health Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Health Economics
Knowledge of project management standards, techniques, and methodologies
Demonstrated experience in analyzing, interpreting, and critically assessing a wide range and volume of information including health policy, legislation, federal / provincial /territorial initiatives, programs, and services
Skills in anticipating the implications of potential changes in order to develop advice and make recommendations
Demonstrated skills in understanding and communicating highly complex and politically sensitive health policy issues to a variant of audiences
Demonstrated skills in understanding and communicating highly complex information to audiences
Extensive negotiation experience, including communication, active listening, expectation management, patience, adaptability, planning, integrity, rapport building, problem solving, and decision-making.
Extensive interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
High level of attention for accuracy and details.
Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of partners and clients.
Proven ability to organize, prioritize, problem solve and multi-task; and,
Able to coach and train staff and colleagues
