Able to creatively and proactively manage upcoming debt maturities in a manner that maximizes asset returns.
Manage the financing process including lender packages, due diligence, financial modeling and partner approvals.
Prepare business cases and/or presentations for potential investors detailing financing activities and strategies.
Prepare any other relevant reporting reasonably requested by the VP and executives from time to time.
Formulate valuations and forward-looking projections in accordance with strategic asset plans and in conjunction with the Asset Management team.
Ensure effective communication with lenders and other third parties.
Requirements
3 - 5 years of relevant work experience (in the multi-residential real estate sector or with a lending institution preferred) in an analysis-intensive position
Bachelor degree in Commerce, Finance or similar education
Client focused and strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
Ability to obtain results in a highly demanding environment
Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Able to develop and sustain cooperative & professional working relationships
Strong communication skills
Strong computer skills with MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint
