Manager

Description:

Managers play a key role in delivering services to our clients while managing other team members. They are the point guard of the consulting team — structuring the team’s research and ensuring everyone collaborates effectively. Managers are doers, too: they don’t just oversee, they dive in themselves to leverage their subject-matter expertise to ensure top tier work.

Our Managers oversee a diverse range of projects, including strategy development, industry benchmarking, materiality assessments, sustainability program design, governance integration and sustainability reporting.

You will support clients and our team in the following ways:

  • Help our clients develop leading reports with integrity and confidence on their sustainability and climate-related activities
  • Act as a project manager on a variety of projects, with a focus on sustainability and climate reporting
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively balancing timelines and budgets while consistently exceeding client expectations
  • Foster and grow existing client relationships and identify new business development opportunities
  • Monitor sustainability and climate accounting/disclosure standards, reporting trends and related regulations in Canada, the U.S. and Europe
  • Assess emerging reporting regulations, notably the IFRS and Canadian Sustainability Disclosure Standards, and their impact on existing sustainability reporting practices and disclosures
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within the company, contributing your perspectives on industry insights to our thought leadership articles
  • Remain agile and curious when supporting projects across our practice areas

The successful candidate will work in the office for the first six months as part of their onboarding and development, after which they will be able to work in a hybrid arrangement.
