Loss Prevention Supervisor

 

Description:

Tiffany & Co. is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Loss Prevention Supervisor to join its team in Canada. As part of Tiffany’s Global Protection Department, the Loss Prevention Supervisor will play a critical role in protecting company assets, employees, and clients, while helping to deliver the Tiffany Experience.

This leadership role will mentor, coach, and guide security team members, ensuring safety, security, and service excellence at the store level. Acting as the security subject matter expert, the Supervisor will work closely with store management, security management, and operations to foster a culture of security awareness and outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities

Security Leadership & Compliance

  • Ensure all Global Protection Standards are consistently maintained.
  • Lead, motivate, and guide security team members to prioritize security best practices, including door coverage, employee awareness training, and safety protocols.
  • Partner with Operations and Security Management to identify and implement shrink reduction strategies.
  • Optimize security scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours, special events, overnights, and store maintenance activities.
  • Support emergency preparedness and act as the key incident management point person during emergencies.

Physical Security Management

  • Ensure all physical security systems (CCTV, alarms, radios, locks, keys, doors, etc.) are functioning correctly and maintained according to Tiffany standards.
  • Initiate and oversee necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments or other security-related evaluations as needed.

Client Service & Experience

  • Train and manage the security team to serve as Tiffany ambassadors, blending luxury hospitality with security professionalism.
  • Collaborate with store leadership to support cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing the client experience.
  • Guide the team to warmly greet and acknowledge clients upon entry and exit, fostering a welcoming environment.
  • Project a calm, professional demeanor while addressing any client or employee concerns.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid Security License.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability to work retail hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrated integrity and high ethical standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with remote team members when necessary.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a retail security environment.
  • 1-2 years of security experience with a focus on customer service.
