What you’ll do on a typical day you’ll focus on: Identifying new customers in your local, regional markets and bringing them the XPO value proposition to help, including heavy cold callingGrowing your account base and working with your regional team to ensure warm handoffs to field sellers as your customers develop.Support customers' needs in the overall regional territory that you are part of.Work with Customer Support Specialists, Customer Service Representatives and other sales support staff to ensure effective administrative support and customer satisfactionDevelop relationships vertically and horizontally within customer organizationsAlign with and become part of your local service center; ensure local centers are aligned to your customer acquisition and growth strategy as you prospect new business in the local area. What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experienceCompetitive nature with a hunter mentality and a strong desire to succeed Solid time management and organizational skills with the ability to be productive in a variety of work environmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAvailability and flexibility to work evenings and some weekends as needed It’d be great if you also have: 2 years of professional sales experience
