Linear Infrastructure Engineer

Description:

TYLin, a globally recognized infrastructure consulting firm, is looking for a Linear Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design of small to medium-sized water and wastewater projects. This role is based in North York and Whitby, offering an opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance mobility, sustainability, and resilience in urban infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Provide design services for underground water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including open-cut, trenchless, and rehabilitation projects.
✔ Support project managers and assist design teams in delivering Environmental Assessment Reports, Studies, and Detailed Designs.
✔ Manage multiple projects simultaneously for various clients.
✔ Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a high-performance team culture.
✔ Assist in business development and proposal preparation.
✔ Provide design support to Contract Administrators and Site Inspectors during the construction phase.

Preferred Qualifications:

📌 Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil or relevant field).
📌 Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license in Ontario is required.
📌 Minimum 5 years of experience in water and wastewater linear infrastructure design (not greenfield).
📌 Experience in vertical infrastructure (e.g., pump stations) is a plus.
📌 Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
