Description:
Ensure all guests have a valid and visible lift ticket
Maintain safe and orderly loading and unloading of the chair & surface lifts
Maintain loading and unloading ramps, signage, and corals to approved standards
Physical duties include shoveling snow and lifting heavy objects
Ensure that the approved operating procedures are followed in accordance with the Lift Operations manual and passenger ropeways regulations
Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals such as Covid-19 PPE protocols
Other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications
Professional, energetic, dependable and love of working outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Previous customer service, lift, and skiing and/or snowboarding experience is an asset
Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service and safety
Ability to handle difficult situations while remaining calm under pressure
Work a minimum of 3 shifts per week for part time
Ability to work a flexible schedule is an asset (evenings, weekends and holidays)
Able to lift up to 20 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time
Successful candidates must complete Bullwheel Training (provided by CH) prior to first day of employment
