Curates high-performing lifestyle content from various sources
Creates high-performing lifestyle content based on current trends, current events, and social media/video
Produces 3-5 lifestyle stories a day (original content and curation)
Is comfortable working with travel, real estate, house and home, food and health and wellness content
Knows how to capture relevant details, quotes and descriptions and communicate them in an engaging way
Is comfortable with different writing styles and formats
Has a deep knowledge of writing conventions and is committed to accuracy
Knows how to fact check and qualify claims with supporting information/links
Has exceptional writing skills and an understanding of SEO
Curates images and racks stories to be scheduled for publication in Village Media’s platform
Loves lifestyle content!
Is willing to relocate or lives in the province of Ontario
You should have:
A degree or diploma in writing or a related field
Superior language, writing and editing skills and an understanding of SEO
The ability to follow a structured approach and meet deadlines
A willingness to collaborate on story ideas
Strong organizational and editing skills
A deep understanding of the lifestyle content and how to connect with specific audiences
