Description:
The Departments of Medicine at St. Michael's Hospital and University of Toronto is seeking a qualified academic hematologist with expertise in non-malignant classical, and complex hematology. The successful candidate must be eligible for an academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant, Associate or Full Professor at the University of Toronto. The candidate will have an academic position description of Clinician Teacher (CT), Clinician Educator (CE), or Clinician in Quality and Innovation (CQI). The expected start date of the position is July 1, 2023, or shortly thereafter.
The successful candidate will hold an MD degree and should have, or be eligible for, certification in Hematology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Preferably, the successful candidate will also have or be working towards a graduate degree relevant to their area of specialization. The successful candidate will participate in the educational programs in Hematology at St. Michael’s Hospital and the University of Toronto and collaborate in clinical research and quality improvement programs.
