Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain/establish strong relationships and ongoing contact with existing tenants.
- Negotiate lease renewals, expansions, and contractions with existing tenants.
- Maintain/establish strong relationships and ongoing contact with brokers and prospective tenants
through meetings, luncheons, presentations, etc.
- Compile market intelligence including occupancy reports, recent transactions, new development, etc.
for internal and client use.
- Assist in creation of marketing campaigns and related materials including websites, leasing
incentives, fact sheets, brochures, and emails.
- Tour prospective tenants through available suites/units.
- Proposal preparation including accompanying financial analysis.
- Under the guidance of the Vice President Leasing, negotiate financial terms of leasing proposals,
offers and leases to achieve optimum value.
- Work collaboratively with property management, operations, and construction to confirm negotiation
terms and seamlessly transition existing and new tenants.
- Assist with budget preparation including market overviews and Asset Management Plans.
- Provide input on new acquisitions with regards to market conditions as it relates to leasing.
- Prepare reports on completed lease transactions and variances for internal and client use.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Education preferred.
- Obtain or in the process of obtaining their RECO Salesperson designation.
- 5-8 years of experience in leasing and negotiations of commercial real estate with a focus on office
