Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain/establish strong relationships and ongoing contact with existing tenants.
  • Negotiate lease renewals, expansions, and contractions with existing tenants.
  • Maintain/establish strong relationships and ongoing contact with brokers and prospective tenants

through meetings, luncheons, presentations, etc.

  • Compile market intelligence including occupancy reports, recent transactions, new development, etc.

for internal and client use.

  • Assist in creation of marketing campaigns and related materials including websites, leasing

incentives, fact sheets, brochures, and emails.

  • Tour prospective tenants through available suites/units.
  • Proposal preparation including accompanying financial analysis.
  • Under the guidance of the Vice President Leasing, negotiate financial terms of leasing proposals,

offers and leases to achieve optimum value.

  • Work collaboratively with property management, operations, and construction to confirm negotiation

terms and seamlessly transition existing and new tenants.

  • Assist with budget preparation including market overviews and Asset Management Plans.
  • Provide input on new acquisitions with regards to market conditions as it relates to leasing.
  • Prepare reports on completed lease transactions and variances for internal and client use.

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education preferred.
  • Obtain or in the process of obtaining their RECO Salesperson designation.
  • 5-8 years of experience in leasing and negotiations of commercial real estate with a focus on office
