Description:
- This Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) position offers a unique opportunity for highly motivated, innovative, and inspired engineers to work in a challenging assignment in the advance phase of automotive product development.
- The KBE Parametric Surface Feasibility Engineer will be responsible for the creation of parametric KBE templates, the rapid development of Class A feasibility proposals, and creation of linked production-feasible inputs for vehicle-level associative parametrically designed components.
- This position is responsible for developing feasible product designs that meet styling intent, working daily with Styling & Studio Engineering, while using the latest in parametric design engineering tools. The goal is to achieve styling requirements while assuring engineering feasibility and meeting quality standards.
- The KBE engineer will develop and apply associative parametric templates in CATIA V5 and/or NX, to develop and analyze CAD geometry.
Requirements:***100% REMOTE. No travel to the US.***
- 3 + years of Automotive Engineering experience in Body Exterior & BIW.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (BSME, BSAE, BSEE) from an ABET accredited university.
