Main responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of project development to construction;
- Assist the project manager in their tasks;
- Prepare contract/construction documents;
- Identify and resolve technical issues;
- Create drawings, specifications, construction documents, technical documents, plans, etc., using Revit software;
- Participate in technical design, production, and problem-solving of assemblies;
- Coordinate plans and specifications with other stakeholders in the construction industry;
- Estimate construction budget costs;
- Conduct product research and participate in the selection of materials and construction systems;
- Participate in the management of construction documents and site administration;
- Follow all stages of a construction site and make visits as needed;
- Coordinate with clients on certain aspects of a project.
Your Profile
- Licensed architect in Quebec, an asset or equivalent;
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the production of contract documents, site experience;
- Computer skills: AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat; and familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign;
- Knowledge of building codes, building envelope design, construction materials, and specifications;
- Technical knowledge of construction details;
- Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset.
