Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain our servers, networks, and computer systems, including hardware, software, and related infrastructure.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, software, and hardware across the organization.

Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights, ensuring the security of company data.

Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and antivirus solutions to safeguard systems from cyber threats.

Ensure regular data backups, recovery plans, and system updates are completed on time.

Assist with system upgrades, integrations, and technology rollouts across the organization.

Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Create and maintain documentation related to IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Collaborate with program managers to ensure that IT solutions meet the organization’s needs.

Stay updated on the latest technology trends and recommend improvements or upgrades to the IT infrastructure.

Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.

In-depth knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems, network management, and virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Experience with cloud platforms and related services.

Experience with standard office systems and software including printers, fax, telephone systems and mobile telecommunications.

Strong understanding of security protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and antivirus management.

Experience managing high demand Wifi system (Ubiquiti Dream Machine in use)

Familiarity with database management (e.g., SQL, MySQL) and server management tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CCNA) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working in a multi-faceted environment.

Must enjoy working with people with diverse levels of digital literacy.

Our current system includes Microsoft Office, Google G Suite, QuickBooks Desktop, Telpay, Squarespace, and various cloud based programs
