Description:
As an IT Support at Mt Seymour Resorts, you will be responsible for supporting the team with maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of our technology infrastructure. This includes providing technical support to staff, managing hardware and software issues, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and other IT equipment.
- Manage user accounts and access permissions.
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place and functioning correctly.
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of network systems, including Wi-Fi networks.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field,
- CompTIA A+ Certification or CompTIA Network+ Certifications or equivalent mandatory
- CompTIA Linux+ and RFID+ an asset but not required
- Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role.
- Experience with working in a hospitality/retail environment/working with POS technology.
- Must have access to your own transportation.
- Familiarity with network administration an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in the office
- Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office 365 and other common software applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be highly organized
