Description:
You will own the E2E service, operational service performance and external stakeholder management across a set of IT services within UK Life and manage the communication and interactions with all related stakeholders.
You will also help drive service availability, stability, resilience and effectiveness of IT services working with the application support teams and wider infrastructure organisation during operational hours to protect the business.
Aviva uses “smart-working”, and the person in this role can be based anywhere commutable to an Aviva office.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Proven experience of incident / problem management, working in partnership with the IT Business Partners, MIT Service Delivery Team, and platform teams to provide seamless and consistent support to customers, including services provided by 3rd parties.
Enjoy solving problems and applying skills to translate IT issues and clearly explain the potential business impacts and consequences and vice versa.
Sound and demonstrable knowledge of service fundamentals and clear understanding of the risk framework as well as a general understanding of key technologies, including servers, desktops, networks, and telephony related services.
Excellent stakeholder management including senior managers, and ability to work well with others at all levels and clearly translate between the technology and business teams.
Have ITIL certification.
