Description:
The Project Manager – GTM Business Applications is responsible for working with our business partners, IT application teams, product owners and central function teams in establishing and executing plans to implement and consolidate systems for the Gas Transmission and Marketing (GTM) business. The successful candidate will work with business partners, business, and technical teams to execute on multiple projects. identify opportunities and contribute to evaluating business value and prioritization. This role will also be responsible for taking prioritized opportunities through ideation, solutioning, testing, production release and change management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines and budgets adhering to Enbridge TIS PMO best practices.
- Build an effective team, delegate tasks, and provide guidance and support as needed to ensure project success.
- Motivate and lead a team of professionals including subject matter experts, business analysts, developers, testers, and other project staff.
- Build relationships with stakeholders including internal customers, team members, vendors, and senior management.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, communicate, and provide regular updates on project progress.
- Develop deep understanding of project risks including technical, financial, and operational risks and be able to create risk management plans that address each risk.
- Work with business analysts and business subject matter experts to develop and facilitate the implementation of change management plans. Includes the need to draft and distribute effective email communications, conduct change awareness sessions, and ensuring the development and delivery of training materials, application user guides, and quick reference guides.
- Coordinate several projects to prevent issues due to interdependencies ensure alignment
- Where required, deliver the following artifacts: Decision Records, Functional Requirements, Business Requirements, and Use Cases.
- Foster high standards of Health, Safety, Security and Environmental stewardship. Model safe behavior based on safety principles.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. Computer Science, MIS or related Management/Information Management discipline.
- 10+ years’ experience working in a Project Manager role.
- PMP or equivalent an asset.
- Oil and gas or transmission pipeline experience an asset.
- Experience with PaaS and SaaS based solutions an asset.
- Experience across the spectrum of information systems and technologies and able to bring that broad-based experience to bear in delivering solutions.
