Description:

Kleysen, a leading transportation solutions provider for over 90 years and part of the Mullen Group, is seeking a highly analytical and skilled IT Programmer/Analyst to support its growing Information Technology team. This role involves system maintenance, software development, troubleshooting, user support, and IT security oversight across multiple company locations in Winnipeg (MB), Edmonton (AB), Calgary (AB), Saskatoon (SK), and Esterhazy (SK).

As an IT Programmer/Analyst, you will work closely with the Manager, I.T., ensuring smooth system operations, implementing upgrades, and researching new technologies. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve help desk tickets efficiently are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Truckmate System Support:

• Provide user support and troubleshoot system issues.
• Develop Command Center reports and assist with EDI implementation.
• Oversee security and system integrity.

✔ IT & Web Development Support:

• Assist with TransApp support & development.
• Maintain building security systems, cameras, software, and hardware solutions.

✔ Help Desk & User Support:

• Act as first point of contact for IT-related issues.
• Provide user training and offer solutions to system concerns.
• Investigate technical issues and communicate effectively with users.

Qualifications & Skills:

🎓 Education & Experience:

• High school diploma with 5 years of IT experience, OR
• University degree with 2 years of IT experience

💻 Technical Skills (Required):

• SQL (DB2 preferred)
• Crystal Reports
• .NET Development

🔧 Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• PowerShell Scripting
• Basic Networking Knowledge
• PC & Hardware Maintenance
• TruckMate Software Experience (Training Available)
