Description:
We are searching for an exceptionally talented IT Manager - Infrastructure to join our growing team and help us deliver on our customer promise. Reporting to the IT Director, the IT Manager - Infrastructure will elevate the performance of all tech-related systems and projects across the business while delivering excellent customer service to all Fusion Homes employees and stakeholders.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Monitor the performance of all IT systems, including computers, programs, and networks.
- Manage all internal and external relationships to ensure successful IT service delivery, including key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and relevant technology communities.
- Investigate, problem solve and coordinate quick resolution of any tech-related issues to minimize impact to the business.
- Continuously identify new opportunities for continuous service delivery improvements or projects company wide.
- Proactively ensure servers are running at optimum efficiency through scheduled maintenance and troubleshoot as needed.
- Provide day to day tech support to all employees in the Guelph and Toronto offices as well as on construction sites.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 4-6 years of related experience within an IT department
- Post-secondary education in Business, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or other relevant areas of study.
- Strong technical proficiency and experience with Microsoft technologies, Windows, XP operating systems, computer systems (hardware/software), network, servers, systems administration, and SQL programming.
- Understanding of emerging IT trends, legislative changes, IT security and compliance trends & developments ensure optimum systems infrastructure and performance of company systems and processes.
- Experience within the homebuilding/construction industry would be an asset.
- Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills with a drive for delivering an excellent user experience.
Travel to the Toronto office may be required on occasion.
