We are currently looking for a highly skilled, caring, and safety focused individual. In this role, you will report to the Vice President, Operations. The IT Manager will be responsible for all the technology infrastructure of the company. The IT Manager oversees all computers, networks, and programs and ensure they are properly functioning for all employees.

Responsibility
Here’s What You’ll be Responsible for:
- Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
- Manage day-to-day issues that arise with computers, printers, and software.
- Setup technology required for new sites.
- Perform critical patch updates for computers and servers.
- Setup the application server.
- Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner.
- Work with Buttcon employees to solve issues that arise.
- Identify department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
- Analyze the IT budget and maintain cost-effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with new IT developments in the industry.
- Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.
- Install new upgrades for hardware and software.
- Infrequent weekend emergency on-call rotation

Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the ICI construction industry or equivalent in ICI construction.
- Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods), industry practices, estimating/ budgeting and scheduling.
- Prior management experience is an asset.
- Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operations systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring.
- Practical experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, client/server, disk imaging, remote tools, Windows 10/11, Server 2019, and iPhone/iPads devices
- Knowledge of Jamf Pro or other MDM tool for iPhone/iPad management
- Additional online certification in coding, data science, and cloud computing is an asset.
- Computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of Suretrak, Primavera P3 or P6, E-Builder Project Management Software, Axis Accounting Software an asset, Procore, and BIM software knowledge are an asset.
- Access to a vehicle as some light travel to job sites are required
