KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service

- Follows the District of Squamish’s Customer Service Guidelines to ensure the Delivery of Outstanding Service.
IT Business Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifies the organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement along with possible
solutions, from an IT systems and process perspective.
- Improves upon existing approaches by seeking opportunities to creatively transform current practices into innovative
alternative solutions.
- Helps implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program
and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners.
- Provides end-user support as needed, under the direction of the Manager and Senior Business Analysts
- Documents and analyzes required project processes, information, and data.
- Prepares requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations.
- Assists in management and enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
- Works closely with vendors on software acquisitions and implementations.
- Assists in the facilitation of various team and department meetings.
- Encourages District staff to make innovative contributions and embrace new ideas.
- Leads change management initiatives to prepare and support managers and staff for technological changes.
- Proactively initiates, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with stakeholders throughout the
organization
