IT Business Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies the organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement along with possible

solutions, from an IT systems and process perspective.

  • Improves upon existing approaches by seeking opportunities to creatively transform current practices into innovative

alternative solutions.

  • Helps implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program

and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners.

  • Provides end-user support as needed, under the direction of the Manager and Senior Business Analysts
  • Documents and analyzes required project processes, information, and data.
  • Prepares requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations.
  • Assists in management and enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
  • Works closely with vendors on software acquisitions and implementations.
  • Assists in the facilitation of various team and department meetings.
  • Encourages District staff to make innovative contributions and embrace new ideas.
  • Leads change management initiatives to prepare and support managers and staff for technological changes.
  • Proactively initiates, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with stakeholders throughout the
