It Assistant

 

Description:

The IT assistant will provide support and assistance to the IT department in both it’s daily tasks and several different ongoing and new projects. The IT assistant will report directly to the IT Coordinator and will assist the various departments of Cheshire.

Role Requirements

· Post-secondary certificate in a related program is required

· Ability to provide high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and competing deadlines

· Demonstrated problem solving, time-management, priority-setting and critical thinking skills

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills; both written and oral

· Demonstrated proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Demonstrated experience or knowledge in working with statistics and reports

· Experience conducting audits or data quality management is an asset

· Working knowledge and experience with office equipment like printers, fax machines, computers and phones

· Knowledge or experience with GoldCare is an asset but not required

· Valid Driver’s License (G2), insurance and use of a vehicle

· Must possess (or able to acquire) a current Police Vulnerable Sector Check satisfactory to the employer
