Inventory Clerk

In this role, you'll work closely with your immediate supervisor to ensure the accuracy of inventory records for a selected group of suppliers. From data entry to account reconciliation, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability of our stock management system.


Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Take inventory counts and make adjustments in the OGASYS system.

  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies by tracing errors.

  • Create and manage stock locations.

  • Prepare cycle counting lists and maintain tracking files.

  • Update the materials catalog using supplier information.

  • Create precise Excel spreadsheets for data tracking.

  • Promote a culture of accuracy and rigor in inventory management.

Administrative Management of Purchases and Orders:

  • Prepare orders, requisitions, purchase orders, price lists, and product code creation.

  • Handle supplier claims and inventory adjustments.

  • Update databases for discrepancies in reception, location transfers, modifications, and product creation.

Training and Support:

  • Participate in the implementation of promotions and train relevant staff.

  • Assist the team with any additional tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.


Required Profile:

  • DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Office Technology, Administration, or related fields.

  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, advanced Excel, Outlook).

  • Fast and accurate typing skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and good memory.
