Description:

Works in collaboration with the Director - Asia to conduct business planning to identify, analyze and develop strategies for existing and emerging market sectors based on knowledge of international and global educational issues. Assists to develop targeted strategies based on a thorough understanding of the global marketplace and needs of employers for job ready graduates for their specific markets. Identifies local and economic market indicators and trends within the assigned market that impact upon stated outcomes of business plan and adjusts strategies within the country accordingly. Ensures that the student recruitment plan aligns with and builds capacity to achieve the College's overall International strategic goals, including development of on-line recruitment strategies. Provides feedback on design and content of marketing materials produced to support International recruitment strategies. Oversees GBC off-shore staff including the provision of guidance to staff and troubleshooting issues that arise when dealing with agents, when attending promotional events, and generally ensuring that off-shore staff represents the quality and professionalism expected of GBC College. Trains agents to develop in-depth knowledge of academic and educational delivery issues related to cross-cultural environments. Researches and evaluates potential partnership opportunities and make recommendations accordingly. And in collaboration with the Director co-ordinates negotiations and launches partnership plans. Recommends local market strategies to facilitate curriculum delivery. Conducts site visits with prospective partners to access cultural branding and academic suitability and compatibility with GBC. Assists to develop strategies and execution plans for the implementation of Academic Internationalization in the specified market with emphasis on opportunities for curriculum internationalization, study and work abroad placements exchanges and faculty development. Identifies co-location strategies and opportunities which enable the expansion to multiple internationalization pillars. Works with Academic divisions to identify curriculum development needs and opportunities and sources international industry and academic sites for completion of curriculum Internationalization. Identifies and leads execution of country specific marketing and promotional strategies and activities to enhance College position in assigned market and provides recommendations for global marketing strategies and initiatives. Contributes to the planning and production of marketing materials, both print and online. Hosts international recruitment agencies and Partners administrators and faculty in visits to the College to reinforce marketing activities and results. Other duties as assigned.
