Description:
In this role, as an Internal Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for internal corporate communications and event planning, playing a crucial role in enhancing our company messaging brand and driving engagement. You collaborate with subject-matter experts in the organization to ensure internal communications align with overall organizational strategies, goals, and value.
What You'll Do On a Typical Day
- Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent and timely communication
- Use digital tools and platforms to create and manage internal communication activities
- Develop internal communications strategies and implementing tactics to help maintain and strengthen company culture
- Develop engaging and innovative communications messages with a strong understanding of how best to deliver information across different channels and across the country.
- Assist in the development and delivery of cross-functional internal communications strategies, tools and materials that support the goals and objectives of the company
- Understanding communication measurement tools, tactics, and benchmarks
- Building, sourcing, and editing content for newsletters, internal company information or celebratory campaigns
- Draft and publish internal announcements for employee notifications, initiatives, and company information
- Prepare, gather, and refine company presentations, including engagement initiatives and town hall events
- Produce video and creative internal digital media on multiple platforms
- Organize internal events and oversee the company's social committee network
- Oversee company rewards program
- Collaborate confidently with leaders at different levels of the organization
What You'll Need To Be Successful
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate with professionals at all levels within the organization
- Excellent attention to detail, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to problem-solve
- Highly organized and articulate and a focus on anticipating stakeholders needs.
- Skill/tact in dealing with people at all levels of the organization
- Ability to think critically, effectively prioritize and manage time, task, and resources
