About the Role:
As an Intermediate Platform Engineer, you’ll be part of the Payment and Ads Platforms team. You’ll play a critical role in building and maintaining payment services that power features like paywalls, subscriptions, and virtual coin mechanisms. You will also contribute to the Ads platform, which consolidates ad logic as a backend service for multiple client platforms (AN, iOS, web).
The systems you work on will be high-traffic, large-scale, and support millions of requests every second — a great opportunity to make a real impact!

Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable systems.
Develop new features using Go and PHP.
Enhance core components, improving reliability and performance.
Manage the infrastructure that supports these systems.
Write unit and service tests for all code.
Research and implement new technologies to address future scaling challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration.
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of software development experience.
Proficiency in Go.
Familiarity with PHP or willingness to work with it.
Experience with AWS (or other cloud platforms like Azure or GCP).
Passion for building backend systems that scale.
Ability to write clean, maintainable code.
Comfortable working with both static and dynamic languages.

Bonus Points:
Experience with payment platforms (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Square).
Familiarity with Ads Platform tools or APIs like Kevel or Google Adsense for Platforms.
Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, ECS).
Experience with Terraform and Ansible.
