Description:
- Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of our existing IT infrastructure and technology
- Establish/maintain security and integrity of business operations.
- Create/maintain infrastructure documentation/library, including maintenance and addition/deletion of domain names, licenses, agreements, branch and head office IT asset management
- Build and maintain vendor relationships for purchase of hardware/software, management of support services.
- Research, review with senior management the purchase of equipment upgrades and replacements in continuity with existing network software/hardware. Install and configure computer systems, diagnose and solve hardware/software issues.
- Access and manage infrastructure risks and provide problem management solutions
- Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of our existing b2b web site, its functionality and provide detailed administrative support and trouble-shooting of website issues; passwords, glitches, browser updates. Create and assist customers on our b2c website.
- Work with external vendors to update and maintain our ERP systems Electronic Ordering System (EOS) and Booking Ordering System (BOS)
- Support operations in general and provide technical guidance; setup and delete email users, setup and troubleshoot email Exchange, remote desktop connections, establish virus detection and removal, etc.
- Assist with other duties and projects as necessary and assigned
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience and knowledge of enterprise infrastructure operations and solutions including successful research design and project implementation
- Experience with MS SQL & Mongo DB
- Experience and/or working knowledge in GitHub, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Adobe XD, Zoom, Teams, COMM100, Amazon S3, Google.
- Solid understanding of all infrastructure aspects of IT including websites, service itmanagement, networks, storage, databases, servers and desktops & firewalls.
- Networking knowledge and experience would be an asset
- Experience and/or working knowledge of Windows Server and Exchange.
- Experience managing/negotiating and generally dealing with all outside IT support services
- Experience in dealing with people management and communicating effectively to resolve issues or conflicts and provide excellent service
- Basic knowledge of PHP, Laravel, HTML/CSS, Angular, React.Js would be an asset.
