Description:
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Responsible for creation and manipulation of images for effective integration into pedagogical print and electronic-based materials utilizing various multimedia software and print based resources.
Calibrates texts and illustrations for print and electronic environments in compliance with specific standards.
Responsible for the development of pedagogically informed design for both print and electronic courseware and promotional materials.
Collaborates with production team of Instructional Designers and Programmers by providing informed and up-to-date production strategies for the design and creation of aesthetically enhanced pedagogical resources in a variety of formats.
Meets with clients to explore design and aesthetical possibilities necessary for successful execution of projects under consideration.
Designs look and feel of online/blended courses and materials in a Learning Management System (LMS).
Participates in preparing materials and ensuring electronic media design using advanced software.
What you will bring:
Certificate or diploma from a community college or equivalent in computer graphics.
Relevant experience in marketing and graphic design related functions desirable.
Experience in designing e-learning lectures integrating multimedia objects for online dissemination.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of computer graphic design.
User interface design experience an asset.
Knowledge of marketing and online communications specifically focused on online tools and services.
Knowledge of e-learning technical solutions.
Experience with the creation of pedagogically informed learning and promotional materials.
Pertinent experience with audio-visual methods of communication.
Demonstrated skills in graphic and user interface design, especially for digital communication means.
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment with a demonstrated capacity for teamwork involving different counterparts both within and outside of the service.
Good communication and task delegation capabilities with good organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while working in an autonomous fashion.
Bilingualism (spoken and written) is essential.
