Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing work plans and proposals and executing environmental site investigations, monitoring and sampling programs, remediation, and other environmental services
- Working closely with experienced senior team members, including Project Managers, Contaminated Sites Approved Professionals, and other technical specialists to develop work plans and execute projects
- Assisting Project Managers with coordination and management of projects to ensure successful project delivery with respect to health & safety, scope, schedule, budget, QA/QC, and client satisfaction
- Conducting site visits, kick off meetings, and field supervision of junior field staff and subcontractors during more complex field programs
- Analysis and interpretation of environmental data and preparation of technical reports for senior review and submission to clients and regulators
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to integrate findings and interpretations with various scientific, planning, and engineering disciplines
- Active participation in proposals and other business development opportunities to build SLR’s client base and revenue stream as appropriate
- Liaison with and building relationships with clients and ensure excellent service delivery
- Mentoring junior staff and participate in internal and external training/mentorship opportunities

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. Previous BC contaminated sites experience is preferred
- Degree or a technical diploma in environmental science, engineering, geology, hydrogeology, or related studies
- Professional designation or eligibility for professional status with a professional organization (PMP, P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., E.I.T., G.I.T., A.Sc.T, or P.Chem)
- Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required for travel to job sites/clients
