Publicis Toronto is looking for an Intermediate Copywriter to join their Creative Department. Much of the work will include social/digital and mass broadcast.

The role requires a smart thinker who has strong conceptual skills, as well as strong creative writing skills. They must have a proactive, positive attitude and the ability to run with a production with minimal supervision.

Copywriter Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ideate concepts and write copy for projects that include: video and radio scripts, headlines, post copy, and description copy
  • Build and own copy decks for internal and external presentations
  • Write copy that is tonally and stylistically appropriate for a variety of media and consumer targets
  • Learn and apply promotional tactics
  • Ensure that internal deadlines, timetables and approval procedures are adhered to for assigned project phases
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of client’s business, industry and marketing needs
  • Present internally and externally to clients/venders with confidence and ease
  • Work enthusiastically with account team, production, traffic, and other creatives in a collaborative environment
  • Stay on top of the latest advertising trends and techniques, including traditional media and new social platforms
