Description:
Automobile Claims Management
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with CBS' Transportation as a key internal client. Provide guidance to and consult with CBS Transport in the adjudication of claims.
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with CBS' Third Party Administrator,
- Ensure adherence to insurer reporting requirements for automobile claims.
Claims Management Support
- Assume lead role in timely review of incoming Reaction Incident Reports (RIR), liaising with CBS personnel as required. Responsible for escalating claims internally as required and promptly posting appropriate claim/incident information to the claims management database(s) with appropriate follow up.
- Assume lead role in reviewing and tracking fractionated product loss incidents for severity and financial impact and liaise with internal stakeholders as appropriate.
- Manage incoming Fire Protection Impairment Reports (FPIR), advising corporate property insurer as needed and electronic filing of FPIR document.
Annual Corporate Insurance Renewal Process
- Take lead role on specified corporate policy insurance renewals as directed by Manager, Risk and Insurance, which includes coordination of underwriting information from internal stakeholders and analyzing the information to complete the annual underwriting submissions to insurers.
- Ensure CBS' exposures and loss data are accurately detailed in underwriting packages prepared within deadlines for the renewal of the corporate insurance policies.
- Communicate with various CBS sites to ensure that CBS exposures and loss history are accurately detailed in underwriting packages that must be prepared within very tight deadlines for the renewal of policies.
