The Opportunity:
The Insurance Advisor is responsible for the promotion, sales and service of all Insurance products to new and existing clients and provides information on insurance packages.
In this role you’ll:
- Identify client’s needs and provide recommendations for the products and services required
- Promote retention of existing clients by providing quality customer service
- Rate new and renewal business utilizing basic knowledge of underwriting principles
- Review and analyze personal sales volumes for improvement opportunities
Here’s what you bring:
- 6 months to 1 year of industry experience
- High school diploma, plus one year of formal education is preferred
- Insurance broker level 1 license is a must.
- Working towards CAIB and/or CIP are an asset (Financial Support Provided)
- Track record of achieving sales targets
- A natural ability at building authentic customer relationships
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion
