Description:
We’re looking for top talent to support this new team as they fill the pipeline and source new opportunities. This role involves leading and coaching a team towards sales goals and priorities with two roles: Regional Sales Representative (inside wholesaler) and Regional Sales Associate (sales support for inside and outside wholesalers). This will include sales activity management, leading and coaching the inside sales team to drive performance and achieve business objectives across Ontario, the Mid-West and BC regions.
As the Manager, Inside Sales, you will:
- Have direct leadership of the East inside sales team, providing leadership and coaching to the inside sales team to drive performance and activity, attain aggressive sales targets, and meet business objectives
- Be accountable for the team’s achievement of business, sales objectives and activity targets
- Empower and energize the work and the team to ensure a consistent high level of performance is delivered and provide day-to-day support and coaching
- Provide regular reporting to the AVP, Inside Sales, Insurance on key performance indicators
- Ensure effective and consistent processes and practices are established and followed, including use of Salesforce (and other tools) across the team
- Create a culture of transparency in measurement
- Monitor overall workflow and advise on any procedure enhancements required to ensure Regional Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Associates on the inside sales team have the necessary tools to deliver exceptional service
- Ensure the delivery/execution of wholesaling top priorities and regional sales plans within the inside sales team
- Be the first point of contact for issues escalation
- Be an important influencer in the evolution of the inside sales team; both within the team and across the organization
- Contribute to the development of inside wholesaling sales strategies and growth opportunities within the insurance portfolio
- Manage the continuous recruitment and pipelining of talent for both roles.
Who we are looking for:
- 6-9 years’ experience in the financial services/investment industry preferred
- Completion of insurance industry designations is considered an asset (i.e., LLQP, CFP, CHS, CLU)
- Leadership experience is considered an asset
- Fluency in French is considered an asset (strong English communication required)
