Description:
As Information Systems (IS) Manager you will lead the team in supporting the daily operations of our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other applications. You will ensure that the systems meet Kuehne+Nagel and regulatory standards and will focus on the quality of service delivered to both internal and external clients and process efficiencies. You will also manage implementations and improvement projects from inception to delivery.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage new customer implementations, improvement projects and customer change demand.
- Regional collaboration and planning for effective operational execution across the region.
- Manage the system support process, including customer and operational escalations.
- Develop new business proposals including effort estimations.
- Manage release deployments.
- Production and maintenance of training documentation and working instructions for IS/IT.
- Participate in joint continuous improvement projects with Kuehne+Nagel operations and customers.
- System validation - ensure that processes are aligned with customer requirements and KN internal standards. Participate in quality and compliance audits.
- Oversight of data extraction and report management.
- Help desk support and monitor ticketing queues (RT).
- Development of new business proposals including effort estimations.
- Management of release deployments.
- Regional collaboration and planning for effective operational execution across the region.
Your Skills and Experiences
- 3-5 years work experience in a similar position in a multi client Contract Logistics environment
- Understanding of Logistics processes.
- Computer system support, administration and troubleshooting.
- Post secondary education required or equivalent work experience.
- Customer service focused with advanced WMS skills, team engagement skills, organizational skills, problem solving and communication skills .
- Deal effectively with suppliers and consultants.
