Responsible for class intakes
Implementing and monitoring the policies and procedures of the Agency
Performing recognition of prior learning (RPL) assessments, trade qualification assessments and approvals
Verifying individuals' eligibility for federal and provincial grants as well as awards
Participating in, or as a resource for, invigilating exams
Serving on various projects, task teams and committees
Qualifications and Experience
This may be the right opportunity for you if you have an undergraduate degree plus 5 years of related experience or an acceptable combination of training and experience.
You are an exceptional communicator (verbal and written) who is decisive with sound analytical and negotiation skills. You have previous experience working independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, demonstrating sound judgement and discretion. You value a diverse and inclusive workplace and are proficient using Microsoft office programs and have experience working in a computerized environment.
Assets for this position include:
Working knowledge and understanding of legislation, policies, procedures and directives governing the Apprenticeship System
Have a Certificate of Qualification in a designated trade
