What You’ll Do

  • Must keep all employee information confidential
  • Maintain and update employee information, such as vacation/leave tracking.
  • Work with the management team to provide confidential employee information
  • Prepare, verify and process all employee payroll related payments, including regular pay, benefit payments, and special payments such as bonuses and vacation pay
  • Complete, verify and process forms and documentation for administration group health benefit plans and group RSP plans
  • Prepare payroll related filings and supporting documentation, such as year-end tax statements, T4’s, Records of Employment and other statements
  • Provide information on payroll matters
  • Compile, review, and monitor, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts
  • Submit weekly source deductions to the CRA
  • Identify and resolve payroll accounting discrepancies
  • Will be responsible for the development or implementation of payroll policies, procedures or processes.

  • Ensuring legal compliance with labour practices
  • Investigating escalated employee concerns and finding solutions
  • Develop and implement human resources policies and procedures
  • Review and update employee rules and regulations
