What You’ll Do
- Must keep all employee information confidential
- Maintain and update employee information, such as vacation/leave tracking.
- Work with the management team to provide confidential employee information
- Prepare, verify and process all employee payroll related payments, including regular pay, benefit payments, and special payments such as bonuses and vacation pay
- Complete, verify and process forms and documentation for administration group health benefit plans and group RSP plans
- Prepare payroll related filings and supporting documentation, such as year-end tax statements, T4’s, Records of Employment and other statements
- Provide information on payroll matters
- Compile, review, and monitor, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts
- Submit weekly source deductions to the CRA
- Identify and resolve payroll accounting discrepancies
- Will be responsible for the development or implementation of payroll policies, procedures or processes.
